Francis Lai - Anima Persa (1977)

Francis Lai created this oddly beautiful score for 1977's giallo-esque "Lost Soul". I've not seen the film (I hope to very soon), but I've heard mostly good stuff about it. Let me know what ya'll think of the score and feel free to let me know your thoughts on the film if you've seen it.

01. Anima Persa (03:00)
02. Per I Canali Di Venezia (01:10)
03. Il Segreto (03:50)
04. Anima Persa (03:15)
05. Il Valzer (03:15)
06. In Chiesa (03:51)
07. Tino E Lucia (02:51)
08. La Scoperta Di Beba (01:12)
09. Il Manicomio (01:23)
10. Incontro Di Tino E Lucia (00:55)
11. L'Accademia (01:08)
12. Lucia (00:45)
13. Zia Elisa (02:35)
14. Rivelazione E Finale (05:48)

This music is what I was looking for since I saw the movie long long time ago.

Thanks a lot. And your blog is really very charming. Love it

"ya'll" is not in the Southern dictionary, brother - the word is a contraction of "you" and "all" and is thus correctly spelled "y'all" - I suppose if you mean "ya (you) will" it could be spelled "ya'll" but, please - humor a poor Tarheel lad - much obliged ~stu

I think your "oddly beautiful" comment pretty much sums it up. I'm not really all that familiar with Francis Lai's work, but I really like this. Thanks a lot for posting Brian.

Thanks for the correction. You'd think I would know how to spell it considering I'm from even farther south than you!

No problem, Peter. I'm very glad you like it.

Weird.

When did RS redesign their site?

Took me a second to realize I was at the right place.

Thanx for the up.

Thanks for Lai! One of my favorite composers.

Yeah, it is odd and it had to be pretty recently. I did the same thing as you and had to look twice to make sure I was on the right page.

Glad you like the disc.

It looks like the audio is French overdubbed with Russian, but there are English subtitles.
