Ennio Morricone - Danger: Diabolik (1968)

Here's the one and only Morricone with the great soundtrack to one of my very favourite films. This was requested by Chuck and is an "unofficial" soundtrack, but it's the closest we're going to get I'm afraid because the original tapes were said to have been destroyed in a fire. Enjoy!

02. Yes Sir, No Sir (Dialogue) (00:23)
03. Charading Chaffeurs in Wait (00:59)
04. Driving Decoys (02:08)
05. Into the Cave (02:53)
06. Diabolik's Hide-out (01:52)

08. Logical Suggestion (Dialogue) (00:25)
09. Money Orgy (02:09)

11. Headlines (Organ Freakout 1) (00:33)
12. Valmont's Go-Go Pad (03:38)
13. Dumped by Dimockracy (Dialogue) (00:41)
14. Eva's Holy Dress (Deep Down Three) (01:33)
15. Diabolik Capture - Conference (Dialogue) (00:33)
16. Gunfight at Red Sands (01:33)

It would be such a shame if this great soundtrack really was destroyed, Valmonts Go-Go Pad is but one of the many gems! Thanks!

Hello Brainiac.
Do you know anything the soundtrack to an italian movie from 1965 called Oggi, domani, dopodomani?
It has some cool surf music by Luis Enrique Bacalov. There's a clip on Yotube:

thanks for all the great music!

Glad you all enjoyed this! Thanks for the comments.

Wille, I'm not familiar with that one, but it's a great song (and so was the sexy dancing!). Just doing a quick search, it sadly looks like a soundtrack was never released. Maybe in the future some company will dig it out and release it.

Excellent post, great soundtrack and the extra film bits are great. I dig this film quite a bit and especially the song Valmont's GoGo Pad, which is rather similar in tone to Morricone's In the Garden of Delights which is another fave of mine by Ennio.
