Ennio Morricone - Dedicato Al Mare Egeo (1979)

Dedicated To The Aegean Sea was a Japanese/Italian co-production starring Claudio Aliotti, Stefania Casini and Olga Karlatos. I've never seen the film, but if it's half as good as the Morricone soundtrack then I'm sure I would love it. Let me know what you think.

01. Dedicato al Mare Egeo (02:32)
02. Un Grido (02:53)
03. Lisa e Nikos (03:41)
04. Cavallina a Cavallo (04:16)
05. E Fuggi Via... (01:18)
06. Un Songno al Sole (02:22)
07. Lisa del Mare Egeo (03:07)
08. Vedere e Non Sapere (03:22)
09. Tre per Tre (03:42)
10. La Donna della Finestra Difronte (03:28)
11. Dedicato al Mare Egeo (03:20)
12. Dedicato al Mare Egeo (03:32)

I haven't seen this film either, but I know better than to ignore an Ennio soundtrack I've never heard! My thanks!

it was a great one, many thanx. I like this more soft touch of Mr. M and I have walked around with Al Cuore Si Comanda in my ear this week and it's just soft and lovely. And the great honur song is just pure happines. And this album walk right in that playlist so I guess that I love this one to. Lovely work.

Awesome! Been curious about this since loving "Cavallo e Cavallina"from A Fistful of Film Music back in the nineties! Thanks a lot. And, Brian, check out our music/wine site sometime: www.vine-yl.com. It's got a different focus, but I think you'll dig it...

I have been looking for this one for a long time! thank you for your committed generosity. On the topic of rare Morricone, do you happen to have the 'Diabolik' OST? best wishes. - C.

You're very welcome. I'll get the DIabolik s/t up in the next day or so!

Oh! I didn't know this one - even though I'm considering myself to be a Morricone fan. Beautiful score, really! Thank you for posting it.

Is there any way to contribute (rare Morricone/G. & M. De Angelis-stuff) to your blog?

Greetings from Kiel, Germany.

Amazingly Generous! It's really nice to find such a wonderful soundtrack blog with this sort of focus. Rather than posting in the comments, is there an e-mail you can be reached at?
best regards,
Chuck.

The song "Cavallina Cavallo" was sung by the famous 70'es pornostar "Cicciolina" (Ilona Saller) who also included this trak in her first (now rare) album from 1979.

Anyway.. this is a great blog! thanks for remembering me how great italian artists were in past..

I recommend to get the movie, if it´s kind of impossible to get. I have an horrible copy with eng subtitles, and that´s a pity because is not only oddly censured, but because the photography and the story are really more than interesting. Cicciolina sings the Cavalina Cavallo song that is included in the film in a very rare and sexy scene. Morricone is the best!

I dont think Cicciolina sing the main track of this.

THANKS FOR UP!

i saw one version of the movie theme being sang by Ilona Slatter (aka Cicciolina). I wonder where this version came from. Any idea?
