ReplyDeleteThanks for bringing the goods. I need Morricone. You post Morricone. Goods brought.
ReplyDeleteI wonder. Is "Quasi Un Vivaldi" an original composition, or is it based on something by Vivaldi?
ReplyDeleteQT also made extensive use of 60's and 70's soundtracks for his Kill Bill films. Some of these might qualify as sleazy listening :P

The link above lists all the music, and where it comes from.
Thanks again ! :D

@Mirko - Thank YOU for your amazing site dedicated to one of my favourite actresses!
Hi Brianiac,
ReplyDeleteI always ask you for soundtracks. This time, i give you one.
In this great blog: http://sanpasquale.blogspot.com/2008/03/franco-micalizzi-la-banda-del-gobbo-aka.html
You'll find the great great Franco Micalizzi's soundtrack "La Banda del Gobbo".
It's 5 stars.
Best wishes,
Albatroz
Morricone often used well known motifs from classical composers like Vivaldi, Mozart, Beethoven etc. in many soundtracks, he tended to use famous "bits" of classical pieces, often in a comic or ironic way, a famous one would be his use of the opening notes of "Eine Kleine Nachtmusik" during the prison raids in "Duck You Sucker".
ReplyDeleteAnother famous piece I can think of is Beethoven's "Fur Elise" which he uses alot, particularly in the soundtrack to "Il Diavolo Nel Cervello".
Thanks for all the wonderful music! Such a gift! You're always so spot on with your choices. If you have it, is there any way to share the soundtrack for the Lucio Fucli film "Contraband?" It's a hard one to find, but I've always loved that soundtrack. Or do you have the soundtrack for "Man From Deep River?" Another great one. Thanks again for all your shares, I always look forward to your next release.
ReplyDeleteJarrod
Great as always.
ReplyDeleteThank you again

The later I've been searching for for years. Thanks
Lyhue, give me a few days and I'll try to take care of those requests. :)
