First things first

Greetings and welcome to my first foray into blogging.

My inspiration for this blog is simple - to share great music I love with others. As a collector, I have benefited from other generous soundtrack sites (links to be added soon) and I felt the need to give back. Expect to see some familiar and hopefully not-so-familiar soundtracks here. As a big fan of what some would call "Euro-trash" or "Euro-cult", I will concentrate on starting this blog out with some scores by some of the greats like Morricone, Cipriani, Piccioni, Umiliani, etc. Where I go after that, will be a surprise to you and me both. I plan on making full use of the "beyond" in the blog's description by not limiting myself to a couple of decades and only one genre.

    question: do you have or is there a soundtrack to fellini's "satyricon"?

    Thanks for the comments. I unfortunately don't have it, but the "Satyricon" s/t was put out by the GDM Music Club in 2003. It was a double cd featuring the score to "Spirits of the Dead" and "Roma". Perhaps I'll post a request thread and some kind soul will share it with us.

    Hi,
    Well, I've been listening to this music for a grand total of two days and I am hooked already. I know NOTHING about the music or films they come from but am making a list of films to see starting in 2 days. Is there a resource for where a beginner would start? What films to watch first? I'm particularly fond of thriller/detective movies and enjoy those soundtracks best ( so far). The internet so far has failed to give me direction so I'm using your blog as a starting point and writing all the names of the films down. I have yet *another* obsession....
